About Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling began as a South Korean fantasy web novel by Chugong. Its webtoon adaptation, illustrated by Jang Sung-rak under the name Dubu with Redice Studio, started on KakaoPage on March 4, 2018.
The webtoon's first season ended in March 2020 and its second ran from August 2020 to December 2021. D&C Media has collected it in 15 print volumes as of October 2025, and Yen Press publishes the English edition of both the webtoon and the novel.
A-1 Pictures adapted it as an anime that aired from January to March 2024, with a second season, Arise from the Shadow, in early 2025. A sequel film has been announced.
