About Alcone Company
Alcone Company was founded in 1952 by Alvin Cohen as a specialty store for New York City's theater community, starting with eyelashes and stage makeup. It is still family-owned and supplies professional makeup and hard-to-find special effects materials to film, TV and stage productions.
Besides the web shop, Alcone runs a retail store at 322 W 49th Street in Manhattan and an office and warehouse in Long Island City. Online orders take 3 to 5 business days to process and ship by USPS, UPS or FedEx. Domestic orders of $100 or more that weigh under 9 lbs ship free, excluding hazardous or flammable items.
Unused items can be returned within 30 days after requesting a return; return labels are only provided when the error was Alcone's.
