About Katsucon
Katsucon takes over the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, each February. It has run since 1995 and is produced by Katsucon Entertainment, Inc. The 2027 edition is set for February 12–14.
Only weekend badges are sold. For 2027, adult prices rise from $70 to $95 depending on when you buy, children 7 and under get in free with a paying adult, and photo ID is required at pickup.
Props go through inspection and must carry a tag inside the venue. Metal weapons, airsoft and other projectile weapons, compound bows, paddles and nunchaku are not allowed, though metal armor without sharp edges is. The convention also runs a Masquerade and a Disability Support Services program.
