About Baltimore Comic-Con
Baltimore Comic-Con is a comic book convention founded in 2000 by Marc Nathan, owner of a Reisterstown comics shop. It is held at the Baltimore Convention Center, and the most recent edition ran September 25–27, 2026; dates for 2027 had not been posted when checked.
Children 10 and under get in free with a paid adult general admission, and tickets are sold through an online checkout linked from the official site. An ASL services request form is also linked from the site.
The weapons policy is strict, partly because of a Baltimore law on replica guns: weapons of any kind are banned, including replica and toy firearms, blades and blunt weapons, and props must be made of soft plastic or foam. The show runs an Adult Cosplay Contest with a $1,000 cash grand prize, plus a separate children's contest.
