About Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun follows Nene Yashiro, a first-year high school student who loves occult stories and wants a boyfriend, so she tries to summon Hanako-san from the school toilet.
It is written by Iro and illustrated by Aida, who work under the joint name AidaIro. Square Enix has serialized it in Monthly GFantasy since 2014, with 25 volumes as of October 2025. Yen Press publishes it in North America.
Lerche's anime aired in early 2020. A restarted anime project began with After-School Hanako-kun in 2023, and a second season of the main series aired in 2025.
