About Anime Crossroads
Anime Crossroads is an Indianapolis-area anime convention that calls itself cosplay-first. It is held at the Embassy Suites Plainfield Convention Center, a full-service convention hotel in Plainfield, minutes from Indianapolis International Airport, and the 2027 edition runs February 26–28.
A weekend badge is $60 and a VIP badge $150; Saturday and Sunday passes are also sold.
The Cosplay Contest on the main stage covers craftsmanship, performance and Best in Show, and entrants must register at the contest table by 2 p.m. Saturday. Props must be convention-safe, with no real weapons, sharp edges or projectiles, and all props are subject to peace-bonding. The attached hotel block tends to fill early.
