About PAX East
PAX East is the Boston edition of the PAX gaming festival series, built by ReedPop and held at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center on Summer Street. The next show is scheduled for April 22–25, 2027.
The program covers video and tabletop games, and the show floor includes a Cosplay Village. Costume weapons must be approved and peace-bonded by Enforcers at the Information booth. Functional weapons, airsoft and decommissioned guns, metal replica guns and metal swords, knives or spears are banned, prop firearms need an orange tip, and bows must be unstrung or strung with low-tension thread.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Sign language interpreters can be requested at least two weeks ahead, and a Medical Pass helps with panel access for the holder and one guest.
