Planet Comicon Kansas City

Planet Comicon Kansas City dates back to March 1999, when the first show was held in Overland Park, Kansas. It now fills the Kansas City Convention Center's Bartle Hall downtown, and the 2027 edition runs April 2–4, with late programming until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

The weekend mixes celebrity autographs and photo ops, comic creators, on-site grading by CGC and JSA, and a long list of fandom cosplay photo meetups. Tickets are sold through the Leap Conventions checkout, and the box office is in Room 2104B.

All costume props and weapons must be inspected and tagged at the Costume Props Desk each day. Projectile props must be inoperable, approved toy guns need an orange barrel cap, and functional firearms, including airsoft and BB guns, are banned. Costumes with hate symbols are not allowed.
