About Tokyo, OK
Tokyo, OK is an anime, gaming and Japanese pop culture convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma, first held in 2008. It is produced by the Oklahoma Society for Culture Appreciation (OS4CA), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The 2027 edition runs four days, June 24–27, using a Marriott hotel and the Ruffin Event Center.
Early-bird weekend badges and Katsura or Sakura VIP memberships were already on sale for 2027.
The OS4CA props policy treats any metal object that can take an edge as live steel and bans it, even when dull. Real firearms are prohibited, prop guns must be permanently disabled and those that look real need an orange tip, and items such as large wooden swords, staves or signs are peace-bonded at the Prop Check station. Knives with blades over four inches count as illegal knives.
