About Bungo Stray Dogs
Bungo Stray Dogs names its characters after famous writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and bases their powers on those authors' books. The story follows the Armed Detective Agency as it protects Yokohama from groups such as the Port Mafia, centered on the weretiger Atsushi Nakajima.
Kafka Asagiri writes and Sango Harukawa illustrates. Kadokawa Shoten has serialized it in Young Ace since 2012, with 28 volumes as of 2026. Yen Press publishes it in English.
The anime TV series premiered in April 2016, and the spin-off series Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! aired in 2021.
