About SpaceCat
SpaceCat is a collector and hobby shop on West San Carlos Street in San Jose, established in 1978. It describes itself as the oldest and largest comic store in the San Jose area.
It carries a full line of new and back-issue comics and graphic novels with collecting supplies, along with Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and vintage video games and consoles. The shop buys all of these from the public.
The free SpaceCat Savers program holds new comics, trades, hardcovers and specialty items each week at no upfront cost; customers need to give valid contact details and come in at least every few weeks. Friday Night Magic and Saturday Commander nights run weekly.
