About The Comic Bug Manhattan Beach
The Comic Bug opened in June 2004, taking over an existing comic store and remodeling it with more space, seating, music and a range of sodas. The Manhattan Beach Boulevard shop is one of two Comic Bug locations; the other is in Culver City.
It carries the mainstream titles plus a large selection of independent publishers, and the owners say they make a point of supporting small presses. Weekly events include Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon and Roblox.
The shop buys comics, action figures, trading cards, toys and games; sellers can stop by or get in touch first. Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days with proof of purchase.
