About Kobra Comics
Kobra Comics is a comic and collectibles store on Beverly Boulevard in Whittier, founded in 2021 by lifelong collector Danny Haro. The shop says it began because he saw a need for specialist services such as cleaning and pressing.
Besides selling comics, key issues, graded books, action figures and collectibles, Kobra offers professional cleaning and pressing, a grading submission service with preparation and secure handling, and a consignment option in which the shop photographs, lists and sells books while the owner keeps title until they sell.
It also buys single items or full collections of comics, Funko figures and other collectibles, paying in cash or store credit. A team of four runs the store, which hosts events and workshops for collectors.
