Anime NYC

Anime NYC is New York City's anime convention, held at the Javits Center on Manhattan's West Side. LeftField Media launched it in 2017. The 2027 edition is scheduled for August 26–29.

The program includes an exhibit hall, Artist Alley, a gaming and community hall, VTuber events and the Destination Cosplay area, where the Cosplay Masquerade is staged.

Prop weapons are allowed if made of foam, cardboard or similar light material; plastic and wooden props need security review, and metal, sharp or blunt weapons such as bokken and bats are banned. Prop guns that could pass for real are not allowed, nor are cap, airsoft or BB guns. Props must be inspected and tagged at a prop check station. An accessibility entrance on 11th Avenue serves attendees who need it.
