About New York Comic Con
New York Comic Con launched in 2006 and is run by ReedPop. It fills the Javits Center in Manhattan for four days each October, and the 2027 dates are October 7–10; a newsletter sign-up gives access to the 2027 ticket presale.
For the 2026 show, single-day tickets ran from $104 to $114 and a 4-day pass cost $371, with fees and sales tax included, and most badge types sold out. Prices for 2027 had not been posted when checked.
Every blaster and prop gun has to be marked by security at a daily Prop Check. Metal blades, real, airsoft and BB guns, hard bats and clubs, and strung bows are on the banned list. Cosplay Central hosts workshops, a repair area, the Crown Championships competition and a Costume Showcase, and an ADA Assistance Program is available.
