Conventions in Arizona at a glance
byocosplay lists 4 conventions in Arizona: 3 anime, 1 multi-genre. They are spread over Phoenix, Tucson and Mesa.
Coming up next: Con-Nichiwa (Oct 30–Nov 1, 2026); Taiyou Con (Feb 19–21, 2027); Phoenix Fan Fusion (Jun 4–6, 2027).
The longest-running on the list is Phoenix Fan Fusion, first held in 2002.
Taiyou Con runs a masquerade or cosplay contest, according to its own site.
Dates, venues and prop rules come from each convention's official site and change every year — check the convention page before you book. If you went, rate the organisation, lines, guests and how cosplay-friendly it felt.
Bringing a prop?
Every convention page links its official prop and weapon policy. Read how convention prop checks work before you pack.
