About C2E2
C2E2, short for Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, started in 2010 and is produced by ReedPop. It takes over McCormick Place in Chicago, and the 2027 edition runs April 30 to May 2, covering comics, cosplay, gaming, authors and anime.
Tickets for 2027 are on sale: a 3-day pass costs $137.33 and single days range from $50.14 on Friday to $71.94 on Saturday, with service fees and sales tax included. VIP tiers cost more and photo ops and autographs are sold separately.
The prop rules follow the ReedPop model. Prop guns and blasters get a daily marking at Prop Check, and metal blades (sharp or blunt), real or airsoft guns and other hard or functional weapons are banned. An ADA Assistance page explains help for disabled attendees.
