About Castle Point Anime Convention
Castle Point Anime Convention (CPAC) was founded in 2008 and is still run by students at Stevens Institute of Technology through Anime Critics United, Inc.; Castle Point is the highest point of the Stevens campus in Hoboken. The two-day show is now held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. The 2027 edition is Saturday and Sunday, April 24–25.
An individual two-day badge is $55, Saturday alone $50 and Sunday $45.
Real weapons, airsoft guns and live steel are not allowed, and every prop weapon has to fit the convention's weapons policy. The Cosplay Masquerade is the performance contest, and CPAC has also run theme-based cosplay contests since 2020.
