About MTAC

MTAC calls itself Tennessee's largest fan-run convention, with a focus on anime, manga and related popular arts. The next edition is scheduled for March 26–28, 2027 in Nashville, using the Sheraton Music City and Embassy Suites Nashville as host hotels.

Three-day memberships for 2027 were listed at $60, rising to $70 from January 1, 2027, before fees and taxes. The convention runs a cosplay contest.

Every prop must pass the on-site Prop Check team. Projectile weapons are banned even when disabled (non-working foam dart and water guns are the only exceptions), live steel is not allowed even sheathed, and props should fit through a standard door, roughly 80 inches tall and 30 inches wide.
