About Yama-Con
Yama-Con Anime & Comic Convention was founded in 2012 and is held each year in the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It describes itself as the largest anime convention in East Tennessee. The 2026 edition runs December 4–6, with early badge pickup the evening before at the Cambria hotel next door.
A weekend pass is $65 plus taxes and fees, Friday alone is $35, and a Sunday family pass admits two adults and two children; a VIP pass adds early seating.
Following LeConte Center policy, any prop that resembles a realistic firearm is banned, including airsoft and disabled guns. Blunt props cannot be solid metal, bows must be unstrung and projectiles cannot be fired. Cosplayers can enter the Cosplay Contest, judged on construction, accuracy and presentation, or the Iron Cosplay challenge.
