About OMG!con
OMG!con is a nonprofit, volunteer-run anime and gaming convention in Owensboro, Kentucky, held since 2006. It takes place at the Owensboro Convention Center on the downtown waterfront, close to Smothers Park, and the 2027 edition runs June 11–13.
A three-day weekend badge is $60, Friday only $35 and Saturday only $40. The convention also runs OMG!bucks, a prize currency spent in the Exhibitor's Hall and Swag Booth.
No metal or live steel is permitted on the premises, defined as swords, knives, bayonets and other metal objects that can take an edge. All weapons and oversized props must be peace-bonded at the Cosplay Corner on entry. The Cosplay Contest allows rehearsed, staff-approved stage combat.
