About SeizaCon
SeizaCon, formerly known as EvilleCon, is a family-friendly anime and gaming convention built by volunteers in the Ohio Valley since 2009. It is a federally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, staffed by volunteers from Kentucky, Indiana and beyond. The 2027 edition is March 19–21 at the Owensboro Convention Center on West 2nd Street.
Every weapon and prop must be inspected and peace-bonded at the cosplay table. Metal and live steel are banned outright, including swords, knives, bayonets, cane swords and throwing stars, whether or not they are sharp. Costume pieces may extend no more than three feet from the body in halls.
The Saturday-night Cosplay Masquerade covers costume, craftsmanship and performance. The venue is ADA compliant, and attendees with disabilities do not have to wait in line to enter event rooms.
