MegaCon Orlando

MegaCon Orlando grew out of the Mega-Show, first held in December 1993, and has used the MegaCon name since 1995. Now part of Fan Expo HQ, it runs four days at the Orange County Convention Center, with the 2027 edition set for May 20–23. The organizer lists attendance at more than 195,000 fans, the highest of its US events.

Ticket options include single-day, multi-day, family and child passes plus VIP packages, sold through the official ticket page. The cosplay program features a Masters of Cosplay competition with a $1,000 cash prize; winners of the eight-city qualifier series also travel to MEGACON.

Actual weapons are banned and, as a general rule, so are metal or wooden prop weapons. Props may be inspected and tagged at the Prop Check Desk, and an accessibility page explains the services desk.
