FanX Salt Lake

FanX Salt Lake, originally Salt Lake Comic Con, was founded in 2013 by Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg and is run by Dan Farr Productions. It has been held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City; the latest edition took place September 24–26, 2026.

The convention is entering a period of change. The Salt Palace is being remodeled and will close fully for three years starting in fall 2027, so organizers told KSL that FanX will split into two smaller events in March and September 2027, when only half of the venue is available, and then move to the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy during construction.

Exact 2027 dates, ticket prices and policies should be confirmed on the official FanX site.
