About GalaxyCon Columbus
GalaxyCon Columbus is a three-day pop-culture event produced by GalaxyCon, LLC. It takes place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on North High Street, and the next edition runs December 4–6, 2026, with tickets already on sale.
The show opens Friday at 2 p.m., with programming until just before midnight Friday and nearly 1 a.m. Saturday. Celebrities, voice actors, comic creators, cosplay guests and fan groups fill the schedule, and the costume and cosplay contests offer more than $4,000 in cash along with medals and trophies, judged by cosplay guests.
The organizer's safety rules ban guns, knives and hard bladed props outright. Foam, plastic or cardboard swords and obviously cartoonish props are allowed, and whips or lassos must be tied to the costume. Admission is not refunded if a celebrity cancels.
