Modern Age Comics

Modern Age Comics is on East Algonquin Road in Algonquin, northwest of Chicago. Every comic is bagged and boarded at no extra charge before going on the shelves or into hold bins. The store also sells graphic novels, magazines, toys, back issues and supplies.

Its pull service lets customers browse Previews on the website, pre-pay for what they want and collect it from the hold bins, with no minimum order and no service fee; pulls should be collected at least monthly. Orders can also be shipped weekly or monthly. The shop says it does not give discounts to new subscribers.

Modern Age also runs a graphic novel club and takes CGC submissions on Saturdays between 1pm and 4pm.
