About Comics and Coasters

Comics and Coasters is a combined comic book shop and coffee shop on North Phelps Avenue in Rockford, founded by local comic reader Justus Auman. The idea is a space where comics, games and coffee share the same room, aimed at readers of every level of fandom.

The store sells new Marvel and DC comics, graphic novels, manga, key books and CGC-graded comics, and its online shop lists the same categories. Customers can set up subscriptions through the website's Manage Comics page.

It is open Tuesday through Saturday, with late hours until 9pm from Wednesday to Saturday, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
