About Treasure Island Comics
Treasure Island Comics is a comic shop on Fremont Boulevard in Fremont. New comics go on sale Wednesday when the shop opens at 11am, and the website posts weekly recommendations.
Its subscription service gives 10% off to customers holding ten or more titles; smaller lists are held too, as long as books are picked up at least once a month. Customers can also reserve items from the monthly Previews catalog, and discounted toy pre-orders need a small deposit.
The shop hosts occasional in-store signings, such as visits from artist Dan Brereton. It announced in 2022 that it no longer takes part in Free Comic Book Day and closes on that Saturday.
