About Anime Weekend Atlanta
Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) has been held since 1995 and now runs four days at Georgia World Congress Center Building C, with the Omni and Signia hotels nearby. The 2026 edition is November 19–22.
Online multi-day memberships for 2026 were $100, or $115 for a mailed badge; single days cost $70 to $75. On-site sales are cash only.
Every prop goes to the Prop Check station by Registration to be peace-bonded. Metal bladed weapons are not allowed even in a case, and props must be under 7 feet and 15 pounds. The AWA Costume Contest on Saturday night is meant for people who made at least 75% of their costume, with craftsmanship pre-judged by a three-person panel.
