About MomoCon
MomoCon started in 2005 through Anime O-Tekku, the Georgia Tech anime club, and became a paid convention in 2012. Today MomoCon, LLC runs it as a four-day event covering Japanese anime alongside American animation, comics, video games and tabletop games, mainly at Georgia World Congress Center Building B with the Omni and Hilton Signia as connected hotels.
The 2027 edition runs May 27–30. Weekend badges are listed at $75 to $110 before tax and fees depending on purchase date, with single days from $55 to $70.
Props must pass a check station near Registration. Items with sharp edges are not allowed, props cannot be swung or thrown, and pieces over about six feet or 30 pounds are reviewed case by case. A Craftsmanship Costume Contest is held each year.
