About Kumoricon
Kumoricon has celebrated anime and Japanese culture in the Portland area since 2003. It is produced by Altonimbus Entertainment, an Oregon nonprofit, and staffed entirely by volunteers, including its board. The 2026 edition is November 13–15 at the Oregon Convention Center.
Full-weekend badges for ages 13 and up were priced from $65 for early buyers to $100 at the door, with cheaper rates for children 6–12. Registration runs through Eventeny.
Any costume prop that is dangerous, or merely looks dangerous, has to be peace-bonded. Mobility aids such as canes, walkers and wheelchairs do not need peace-bonding, and the venue only admits trained service animals.
