Heroes Comics, Cards, and Toys

Heroes, on West Campbell Avenue in Campbell, says it has been part of the Bay Area comic shop scene since 1985. It belongs to a small group of shops that also includes Heroes & Champions in Sunnyvale and Willow Glen.

The shop carries new and old comics, a large trade paperback section, Magic and Pokémon packs and singles, action figures, antiques and classic animation art. Vintage Golden, Silver and Bronze Age books are a focus here, and bin back issues from the Copper Age onward are half price.

Heroes buys, sells and trades, with free appraisals by appointment, and looks for comics, original comic and animation art and vintage toys. A Comics Saver program holds new releases, and any four trade paperbacks cost the price of three.
