The Comic Den

The Comic Den is a comic book shop on West Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles. Its founder describes himself as a collector with more than 40 years of experience who grew up in Watts, and the shop's stated mission is to use comics to encourage reading and learning among young people in the community.

Regular customers can keep a pull list. Requests have to be in by the Monday of release week; anything sent later may not be pulled or held.

The shop also buys comic collections through a sell-your-comics page. For returns, the posted policy allows 14 days on unused items in original condition with a receipt, while special orders, graded comics and clearance items are final sale.
