Comic Con Nebraska

Comic Con Nebraska is an Omaha comic and pop culture convention presented as an OEG event, held at the Omaha Convention Center, the CHI Health Center Omaha complex. The organisers have announced a return for October 2–3, 2027; show hours were still to be confirmed.

The venue bans weapons and objects that resemble weapons, which shapes the cosplay rules. Proton packs, lightsabers, wands, shields, staffs and accessories such as umbrellas or frying pans are allowed, but blasters and swords or bludgeoning weapons, foam or real, are not. Everything is subject to final approval on site, and the venue will not hold banned items, so they must go back to a car or hotel room.
