Anime Pasadena

Anime Pasadena is a three-day anime convention at the Pasadena Convention Center. The 2026 show, held November 6–8, marks its eighth year at the venue.

Programming includes guests, panels, a vendor hall, meetups and a main stage. The Adult Cosplay Contest is the main costume competition, and a free Kids Cosplay Contest on Sunday is open to attendees 15 and under.

Real weapons of any kind are banned, including real firearms and real knives or swords. Props must be clearly fake: foam, cardboard or light plastic swords, prop guns with no moving parts and orange tips, and unstrung bows without arrows are generally fine, while metal or sharp props and anything that shoots are not. All prop weapons are inspected and tagged at the Prop Check Station on entry.
