About GalaxyCon San Jose
GalaxyCon San Jose is GalaxyCon's West Coast stop, a three-day pop-culture festival at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center on West San Carlos Street. The 2027 edition runs August 20–22, with tickets on sale.
Hours here are shorter than at the chain's late-night shows: 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Celebrities, voice actors, comic creators and cosplay guests headline, and the costume and cosplay contests offer more than $4,000 in cash.
GalaxyCon's props policy bans guns, knives and bladed weapons made of hard material; lightsabers, foam swords and clearly cartoonish props are permitted. Admission is non-refundable when a guest cancels, though autograph and photo-op tickets for that guest are refunded.
