About Long Beach Comic Con
Long Beach Comic Con is a weekend comic and pop-culture convention held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Southern California. It is produced by Nerd Street Events, the company founded in 2011 that also runs Twin Cities Con, Central Florida Comic Con and Des Moines Con. The latest edition took place September 5–6, 2026; dates for the next show had not been posted when checked.
Tickets are sold through Tixr, and the organizer has promoted free kids' tickets with a discount code.
The costume weapons policy bans functional and realistic-looking guns, props made of metal, wood or glass, metal-bladed weapons, whips and blunt weapons such as bats. Props made from cardboard, foam or other light materials are allowed. The cosplay page also lists the show's costume contests.
