ONE

ONE is the pseudonym of a Japanese manga artist best known for the web manga One-Punch Man, which he began posting online in July 2009. He still runs the original webcomic on his own website with no official publisher.

Yusuke Murata contacted ONE after reading his work. Murata's redrawn One-Punch Man began on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012, and an anime adaptation first aired in 2015.

ONE also wrote and illustrated Mob Psycho 100, serialized from April 2012 in Shogakukan's Ura Sunday. In November 2022 he began Versus with artist Kyōtarō Azuma in Kodansha's Shonen Sirius. His awards include the Sugoi Japan Award in 2016 and the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2017.
