About Robert Kirkman
Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer, screenwriter and producer. He co-created The Walking Dead, Invincible, Tech Jacket, Outcast, Oblivion Song and Fire Power for Image Comics. For Marvel he wrote Ultimate X-Men, Irredeemable Ant-Man and Marvel Zombies.
His first comic was the 2000 parody Battle Pope, co-created with Tony Moore and self-published. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, serving as COO, and the only partner who was not a co-founder. In 2010 he co-founded Skybound Entertainment, which manages The Walking Dead and Invincible.
The Walking Dead won the Eisner Award for Best Continuing Series in 2010, and Angoulême gave Kirkman its Fauve d'honneur in 2020. He also created and produced the TV adaptations of Outcast and Invincible.
