Transformers (Skybound)

Transformers is an ongoing comic from Skybound Entertainment, an imprint of Image Comics, and part of the shared Energon Universe line. Daniel Warren Johnson wrote and drew the opening issues, with colors by Mike Spicer, and Jorge Corona took over as artist from issue #7 while Johnson stayed on as writer.

The first issue came out on October 4, 2023, and 36 issues had been released by September 2026. Robert Kirkman became lead writer with issue #25 in October 2025. The series is collected in trade paperbacks and deluxe hardcovers.

Johnson won the 2024 Eisner Awards for Best Continuing Series and Best Writer/Artist for the book.
