Absolute Batman

Absolute Batman is an ongoing DC Comics series written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Nick Dragotta. It stars a 24-year-old blue-collar civil engineer named Bruce Wayne who, unlike the mainstream version, grew up without family wealth in Crime Alley. It was the first title in DC's Absolute Universe, launching alongside Absolute Wonder Woman and Absolute Superman.

Issue #1 went on sale on October 9, 2024, and the book has continued monthly since. Collected volumes include The Zoo and Abomination.

The first issue was the top-selling comic in the direct market for 2024, with close to 400,000 copies across printings. The series was nominated for the 2025 Eisner Award for Best New Series.
