Black Hammer

Black Hammer is a superhero metafiction series created by writer Jeff Lemire and artist Dean Ormston, with colors by Dave Stewart. Black Hammer and six other heroes saved Spiral City from the Anti-God but ended up trapped in the strange small town of Rockwood, where the survivors now live on a farm with little hope of escape.

Dark Horse Comics began publishing it in July 2016. The core story continued in Age of Doom, Reborn, The End and Spiral City and is collected in eleven trade paperbacks, while spin-offs such as Sherlock Frankenstein and The Quantum Age form the World of Black Hammer.

The series won the 2017 Eisner Award for Best New Series.
