About Sweet Tooth
Sweet Tooth is a post-apocalyptic comic written and drawn by Canadian cartoonist Jeff Lemire. Gus, a young boy with deer-like features, lives deep in the woods with his father until a stranger named Jepperd promises to take him to a sanctuary, in a world where a mysterious plague has been wiping out humanity.
DC Comics published the original 40 issues under its Vertigo imprint, with cover dates from November 2009 to January 2013. The six-issue sequel The Return, set 300 years later, followed from 2020 to 2021. The story is collected in seven trade paperbacks.
Netflix's live-action series premiered in June 2021 and ended with its third season in June 2024.
