About Goblin Market
Goblin Market opened in October 2023 on North Lincoln Avenue and describes itself as the city's only shop specializing in manga, manhwa and danmei. It carries more than 1,500 volumes of manga, manhwa, danmei and light novels, with new stock added weekly.
A curated comics and graphic novel section leans toward horror, science fiction, fantasy, LGBTQ+ and independent titles, along with some mainstream superhero books. Comic club members get a free pull-list service. The store also sells board games, card games and tabletop RPGs, including a large range of small-press RPGs and larps, and local handmade goods.
The shop is queer-owned and Arab-owned. Its calendar is busy: manga and horror book clubs, author signings, crafting workshops, a queer nerd meetup and midnight comic releases.
