About Third Coast Comics
Third Coast Comics is a Rogers Park shop on North Sheridan Road, close to Loyola University's Lakeshore Campus. It opened as a brick-and-mortar store in summer 2008 and moved to its current address in spring 2016. It stocks mainstream and independent comics and graphic novels.
Regulars can set up pull lists and special orders. For readers who cannot visit, the Chef's Choice plan lets a customer describe their tastes and set a budget from $25 to $150; staff pick graphic novels, send an invoice and ship anywhere in the US. A gift box is also sold as a one-off package or a three-month subscription.
The store says it has been nominated three times for the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award. It is closed Mondays and Sundays.
