About Atlas Comics
Atlas Comics is on North Harlem Avenue on Chicago's Northwest Side, less than a mile south of the Kennedy Expressway and about a five-minute walk from the Harlem stop on the CTA Blue Line. The shop says it is about 15 minutes from O'Hare by car. Free two-hour street parking is available nearby.
Its subscription service pulls and holds new comics every Wednesday and is free even for a single title a month; customers taking 20 or more titles a month get 10% off the cover price of new comics.
Atlas buys comic collections, old comic art, movie memorabilia and comic strips from before 1960. It is open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
