About Sheep Cult Comics
Sheep Cult Comics is an indie comic and bookstore on North Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park that also sells online. Most of its stock is consigned work by local Chicago creators or titles from small presses, so the shelves run to indie comics, zines, art books, poetry, periodicals and postcards rather than mainstream superhero releases.
Artists can place work in the shop on consignment, and the store publishes its own anthology, The Sheep Cult Oddity, with open calls announced on its submissions page. It is a distributor for Cram Books.
The blog lists art shows, release parties and concerts held in the space. Online orders on undamaged items can be returned within 30 days of delivery by emailing the shop. It is open seven days a week.
