About Bleach
Bleach centers on teenager Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper from Rukia Kuchiki and uses them to fight Hollows and guide departed souls, a job that pulls him into several spirit realms.
Tite Kubo wrote and illustrated the series for Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from August 2001 to August 2016. It is complete in 74 volumes, and Viz Media publishes it in English.
Studio Pierrot's anime ran from 2004 to 2012. The final arc returned as Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War from 2022 to 2026, and a Warner Bros. live-action film came out in 2018.
