About Shueisha
Shueisha is a Japanese publishing company based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It started in 1925 as the entertainment publishing arm of Shogakukan and became a separate company the following year. Together with Shogakukan and Hakusensha it forms the Hitotsubashi Group, owned by the Ōga family.
Its manga output centers on the Jump line: the shōnen magazines Weekly Shōnen Jump, Jump SQ and V Jump, the seinen titles Weekly Young Jump, Grand Jump and Ultra Jump, and the online magazine Shōnen Jump+. It also runs light novel labels such as Cobalt Bunko and Dash X Bunko.
In North America, Shueisha manga usually reaches readers through Viz Media, which Shueisha owns together with Shogakukan.
