About JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is split into nine main story arcs, each with a new protagonist who carries the JoJo nickname, from Phantom Blood (1987) to The JoJoLands (2023–present).

Hirohiko Araki serialized it in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1987 to 2004 before moving it to the monthly Ultra Jump in 2005. With 140 volumes as of September 2026, it is one of the longest manga by volume count. Viz Media publishes the English edition.

A.P.P.P. made an OVA series adapting Stardust Crusaders, and David Production's TV anime began in October 2012 with Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency.
